Course Objective
The aim of this course is to give knowledge and skills to Social Studies using maps.
Brief Content of the Course
Definition and importance of the map, map types, place and importance of map usage in social studies courses, map skills and types, navigation skills, skills of finding location on map and globe, using scale and distance calculations skills, interpret map symbols skills, comparison of maps skills, map-making skills, course activities for use of maps in social studies lessons.
