Course Objective
The philosophy of science aims to find an answer to some basic problems related to the objective science and to develop an understanding of the bases of the scientific field in which the students are working, by showing how science works and what distinguishes it.
Brief Content of the Course
Prerequisites
It is aimed to gain students the habit of scientific thinking by understanding the meaning, nature and applications of science. The content of the course is science, modern science, understanding of science / model / paradigms and discussions, methodology in science, research method relation in scientific researches, consistency and validity, planning, realization and writing processes of scientific studies. Understanding of the nature of science, ensuring that scientific and non-scientific are distinguished, providing scientific methods and learning of these methods, learning of scientific thinking methods and techniques and acquiring practice habits.
