Course Objective
It aims to convey information on remote sensing methods and techniques and basic principles in planning.
Brief Content of the Course
Energy sources and emission principles in remote sensing, Energy's interaction with atmosphere and earth objects, Satellites, sensors and their properties, Digital image, resolution, properties of remote sensing systems, Multi-band sensing, Hyperband sensing, band and color concept, Preprocessing of data, geometric correction, Atmospheric correction, rectification, referencing, Image enhancement and applications, classification algorithms, Controlled and Uncontrolled classification, Use of remote sensing data in city and regional planning
