Course Objective
The aim of this course is to enable students to communicate effectively with hearing-impaired individuals by learning the basic structure, grammatical features, and communication rules of Turkish Sign Language (TİD). It also aims to develop social awareness, cultural sensitivity, and inclusive communication skills in students.

Introduction to Sign Language and Its History The Structure and Grammatical Features of Turkish Sign Language The Alphabet, Number System, and Basic Words Basic Signs Used in Daily Life Emotions, Professions, and Concepts of Time Dialogues and Practical Communication Examples The Roles of Hearing Impaired Individuals in Social Life Disability, Language, and Identity from a Sociological Perspective Inclusive Communication and Social Integration

To teach the basic vocabulary and grammatical structure of Turkish Sign Language.
