Course Objective
The aim of the course is to provide students with the knowledge to explain socialization and related processes in sports and to conduct case study analysis on deviance and violence in sports activities.
Brief Content of the Course
The course content includes definitions and concepts related to the sociology of sports, the birth and historical chronological development of the sociology of sports, the historical development of the Olympic Games, the definition of society, society and sports, family and sports from a sociological perspective, education and sports from a sociological perspective, culture and sports from a sociological perspective, sports and socialization, and deviation and violence in sporting activities.
