Course Objective
This course aims to teach the basic patterns of bottom clothing parts and the steps in model application as the first step of garment molding. Students are encouraged to think about sustainable sourcing, design, such as upcycling and zero waste, and manufacturing techniques.
Brief Content of the Course
General pattern knowledge, methods of taking measurements from the individual and information on pattern techniques,basic information about sustainable sourcing, upcycling and zero waste in the mold making process basic skirt and model applied skirt drawings, basic trousers drawing and model applications, tights and sweatpants drawing, grading techniques.
