Course Objective
This course aims to provide the necessary technical knowledge, process management and application skills related to designing clothes for a special purpose.Students are encouraged to think about sustainable sourcing, design, such as upcycling and zero waste, and manufacturing techniques. It is aimed to ensure ethical awareness and understanding of the potential environmental impacts of fabrics or materials.
Brief Content of the Course
Uniform and service uniform designs for various professions, clothing designs for corporations such as hospital, school etc.,sustainable sourcing, design and production techniques such as upcycling and zero waste, ethical awareness and potential environmental impacts of fabrics or materials, examining the samples of clothing group for special purposes from the world (ergonomics, anatomy, design, materials, production technologies, usage properties), examining samples of clothing group for special purpose from Turkey (ergonomics, anatomy, design, materials, production technologies, usage properties), process of clothing design for special purpose and production.
