Course Objective
To develop students' problem-posing and solution-finding aspects in interdisciplinary relationships. Discovering unlimited materials and turning them into workable artifacts, to provide aesthetic products with creative values within the framework of original ideas.
Brief Content of the Course
Book arts in traditional Turkish Handicrafts (skin, calligraphy, illumination, depiction, paper carving, marbling), investigations of tile-ceramic art, carpet art, fabric art, mineral art, wood art, stone art from and sample art works, studies on traditional arts today, studies on the sustainability of handicrafts.
