Learning Outcomes Of the Course 
ÖÇ1Explains the concepts of electric force and electric field.
ÖÇ2Calculates the electric field and potential for continuous charge distributions using appropriate methods.
ÖÇ3Calculates potential using methods such as image charge, Laplace equation solution and multipole expansion.
ÖÇ4Uses the concepts of polarization and electric displacement of bound charges to calculate electric fields within matter.
ÖÇ5Understand the Lorentz force law and calculate the magnetic field created by steady currents using the Biot-Savart law and Ampere's law.
